4th of July Fireworks

July 4, 2012

This is one of the best fireworks shows in the area and it’s an annual family tradition that has been going on for decades!

The annual 4th of July parade starts at Noon and runs right down the middle of C Street!

The afternoon is filled with Wild West excitement like gunfights, stage coach rides, the V&T Railroad train rides, museum and mine tours, music on the street, and a family friendly festive atmosphere that opitimizes the spirit of smalltown Independence Day celebrations!

Just before the fireworks, join David John & The Comstock Cowboys for their FREE annual 2nd Ammendment Concert in the Delta Saloon parking lot.  This show is always a crowd favorite and gets everyone geared up and in prime viewing position for the spectacular fireworks display in the Virginia City night sky after dusk!

Along with the fun activities going on all day long there will be raffles for some genuine wild west artifacts and collectibles, where all proceeds will help pay for this annual event.

If you’d like to help keep this tradition alive, we ask the attending public and any area merchants, businesses, or corporations to do what they can to donate to this worthy American cause! You can drop a little in the donation buckets throughout town, or purchase some raffle tickets, or if you’d like to donate online you may do so here….
