Governor Brian Sandoval was in attendance at the 2011 Carson City Rendezvous (shown here in the Mountain Man encampment with Kryer) and in his own words he was very moved by the spirit of this great event. So much so that he personally wrote a letter to the Carson City Convention and Visitors Bureau endorsing this event and encouraging its long existence!
